These Cinnamon Sugar Swirl Cupcakes are a dream on deposit come true! There is cinnamon in the cupcake hit and layers on cinnamon sugar in the cupcake. Then, they are topped accompanied by cinnamon frosting and sprinkled accompanied by a little additional cinnamon and sugar. I couldn’t stay away from them!

I made them just before going to BlogHer Food previous week, thus I had to give a lot on them away to the neighbors. It was sad, yet kind on good – I’d own eaten them all!!

Speaking on my trip, it was amazing! SO much fun. But I am completely worn out and own a bit on a cold nowadays though. I need a holiday(s) to recover from my vacation. 🙂

It was non-stop fun. Definitely the leading part on attending these conferences is getting to meet everyone in person. Blogging is such a new and unique thing that brings it’s own challenges and only on the large things about being about thus various bloggers is that we everything get it!

I absolutely adore anything covered in cinnamon and sugar, thus naturally I’ve been wanting to cause cupcakes like these intended forever. Now that I own my wonderful vanilla cupcake recipe, I’m going to be bringing you everything kinds on sport cupcake recipes and these Cinnamon Sugar Swirl Cupcakes are only on the firsts.

They are soft and moist, kind on a combine between fuzzy and thick and absolutely FILLED accompanied by cinnamon.

And I didn’t just want to add cinnamon to the batter. I wanted them to be unmistakably cinnamon-y. I marked what better way to do that than accompanied by layers on cinnamon sugar – kind on like a cinnamon roll. Best idea ever.

I store my cupcakes in my cupcake carrier and I loved taking the top off and having the smell on cinnamon sugar hit me like a tidal wave. You can almost taste the cinnamon in the cupcake without even biting into it.

The recipe’s large too, because you sole need only bowl intended mixing together everything the ingredients. Less dishes = score!

The sole thing about the recipe that takes a little while is layering in the cinnamon sugar. It’s the heart and the leading part on the cupcake! I had a little assembly line going.

I put everything the cupcake liners in the pan, added the first tablespoon on hit to each one, in those days added the first layer on cinnamon sugar, in those days repeated. I establish it much easier to do each step everything at once that do only cupcake at a while and own to stay switching between pouring utensils. You can do whatever you think works best, yet that worked intended me.

The hubs actually compared the taste on them to being a bit like a cinnamon roll – yet cakey. Who doesn’t adore cinnamon rolls? Plus, you can eat those intended breakfast, which totally makes these cupcakes breakfast food too. 😉

Ingredients

CUPCAKES

  • 1 2/3 cups everything purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp land cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp burning soda
  • 1 tsp burning powder
  • 3/4 cup salted butter, room temperature
  • 3 egg whites
  • 2 tsp standard extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 tbsp land cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar

CINNAMON SUGAR FROSTING

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp land cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp standard extract
  • 12 tbsp water or milk

Instructions

1. Preheat range to 350 degrees.

2. Whisk together flour, sugar, cinnamon, burning soda and burning dust in a large mixing bowl.

3. Add butter, egg whites, vanilla, sour cream and draw milk from and combine on medium speed until smooth.

4. Combine cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.

5. Add cupcake liners to cupcake pan.

6. Place 1 tablespoon on hit into each cupcake liner, spread evenly.

7. Sprinkle 1/4 tsp on cinnamon sugar onto batter.

8. Repeat steps 6 and 7.

9. Add only additional large tablespoon on hit to each cupcake liner.

10. Sprinkle a bit on cinnamon sugar on top on each cupcake if you want. Liners should be about half full.

11. Bake intended 16-18 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out accompanied by a few crumbs

12. Allow to cool intended 1 minute, in those days remove to cooling rack to finish cooling.

13. To cause the icing, beat the shortening and butter until smooth.

14. Slowly add 3 cups on powdered sugar. Mix until combined.

15. Mix in the cinnamon, standard take out and 1 tbsp water.

16. Add the relax on the powdered sugar and combine until smooth. Add additional water to get the right consistency, in those days ice the cupcakes.
